La Tramun Sea Otter Europe is defined in two words: tough and captivating. The race proposes a spectacular route in the heart of the province of Girona, one of the great cycling capitals. The trails are the main protagonists of a route that tests the physical conditions and technical skills of the riders.

A unique opportunity to enjoy both the volcanic environment of the Garrotxa and the Mediterranean forests that surround the cycling capital.

The route 89 km and 2,750 meters of positive difference in altitude is the great attraction of the race.

The start will take place in the town of Les Planes d’Hostoles and will be a challenge from the beginning, since almost all the positive slope will be concentrated in the first part of the race. After a first ascent that will follow a continuous seesaw, the participants will encounter the second serious climb of the day. After crowning, the route will give a short break; a brief rest before facing the big climb, which will arrive at KM33 and will last for almost 10 physically demanding kilometers.

In addition, this year we are also offering the Tramun Sea Otter Europe Short Course, a 45-kilometre route that lets you enjoy the World Cup experience without the physical demands of the full course. Available only in the Open category.

Transportation from the Fontajau Pavilion in the Sea Otter Europe festival to the start of the test in les Planes d’Hostoles (Girona).
